VO5 Polar is the ultra cold weather wax from Swix. This can be used as a cover wax to help speed up other kickers. It can also be used with some success on wood skis as a glide wax. Binder suggestions for this wax is dependent on the snow conditions. In more abrasive conditions we suggest waxes like Vauhti GS Base Super or Start Extra Base. In less abrasive conditins we suggest looking towards Rex Base Wax or Vauhti GS Base AT.
