The layup of the carbon provides the perfect amount of flex when striding but the stiffness to provide confidence while turning and going downhill. This model includes the Racing Classic Liner that can be removed to dry faster or swapping to a new one if one wears out. This being the same boot that World Cup athletes use it does fit pretty snug in order to maximize control and performance.
